Owasso Fishing Team

How to Join

Get in the boat

Five steps from curious to competing. Most new anglers are fishing their first tournament within a month.

    1

    Come to a team meeting

Bring a parent. We'll walk through the season, costs, and answer questions. Or email Coach Anderson at owassofishing@gmail.com.

    2

Register + join OKHSF and SAF

Team registration is $100 per angler ($50 renewal) and includes your jersey and hat. Add the OKHSF membership ($75) and SAF membership ($25). Pay the team by Venmo @OwassoHSFishing, Cash App $OwassoHSFishing, or cash at a meeting; OKHSF is paid on their site.

Find a partner and a captain

Teams are two students plus an adult boat captain (19+). Pick a buddy or post on the Partner Board and we'll match you. If your family has a boat 16 ft or longer with a livewell, you already have a captain.

    Open the Partner Board
    4

    Get your paperwork in

Parent/guardian signature on the OKHSF entry & release form, proof of school enrollment, and a fishing license if you're 16 or older.

    5

    Register for the first tournament

Registration closes 11:59 PM the Thursday before each event. The club covers Northern Trail entry fees this season. Late entries cost $20 extra — don't be that team.
