Costs: team registration is $100 per angler ($50 renewal) and includes your jersey and hat. OKHSF membership is $75 (pay on okhsfishing.com) and SAF membership is $25. The club is covering entry fees for the three Northern Trail tournaments this season. Pay the team by Venmo @OwassoHSFishing, Cash App $OwassoHSFishing, or cash at a meeting.
Schedule: Lake Hudson on November 1 (Lions Club Ramp), Grand Lake on April 4 (Wolf Creek), Tenkiller on April 25 (Fisherman's Point). Southern Trail events at McGee Creek (Oct 25), Eufaula (Apr 18), and Texoma (May 16) are open to anyone who wants extra tournaments — club coverage of those fees is still being decided. The SAF State Championship is May 1–2 at Fort Gibson and the OKHSF Championship is May 22–23 at Eufaula.
Practices are at Martin Tackle Outdoors — team anglers get 10% off there and at Nichols Marine. We meet before every tournament to go over the lake, safety, and strategy.
Boat captains: we always need more. Captains must be 19 or older with a boat of at least 16 feet. If you can help, even for one or two events, sign up on the Boat Captains page.
